Jake has overseen the tremendous growth of the Playing for Change Foundation, which has 16 schools around the world and in 12 different countries serving over 3,000 students each week. Utilizing a network of renowned artists, he has helped build the organization's recognition as a major non-profit in global arts education. Prior to leading the Playing for Change Foundation, Jake was the Executive Director of Josh Groban's Find Your Light Foundation, where he created a support network of over 100 arts education nonprofits and led the organization to enormous success.
Jake regularly consults with nonprofits to help them find sustainability and growth. In addition, he works as a musician and theater producer in his spare time.
The Playing For Change Foundation grew out of the idea that music has the power to connect us across our differences. Founded in 2007, PFCF was established to create positive change through music and arts education. Our programs engage marginalized youth in diverse communities around the world, primarily located in low-income countries. These communities are home to a wealth of cultural richness, which we use to create educational and social opportunities.
