Lorea Bilbao, Provincial Deputy for Basque and Culture of Bizkaia since 2015, moderates a conversation with creators of cultural projects in Bizkaia:
-Artoteka: Platform for the dissemination of local contemporary art and artistic mediation. Its aim is to bring contemporary art closer to different collectives, people and spaces of everyday life.
-Deabru Beltzak: Deabru Beltzak Street Theater, was created in 1996 by actors and actresses from different professional groups in the Basque Country. Since then, they have produced 10 productions, more than 3,000 performances, 80 commissioned events, 50 urban party directions and have collaborated with more than 35 theater companies from all over the world.
-Loraldia: Loraldia was born in 2014 as a result of the passion for Basque culture of 6 people with complementary abilities with the aim of developing a festival in Basque that contemplates all cultural disciplines in a differential and unique way in Bilbao, during the spring.
-Ura bere bidean: innovative musical project created in times of pandemic driven by the Fair Saturday Foundation and the Provincial Council of Bizkaia with the support of Laboral Kutxa. A musical project with the participation of fourteen Basque groups performing unpublished symphonic versions of outstanding Basque songs by the composer Fernando Velázquez, together with the BOS-Bilbao Orkestra Sinfonikoa and the Bilbao Choral Society.
-Urmuga: a musicalized mountain trek that will cross during the second half of July the main mountain ridges of the Basque Country with the complement of a dozen concerts in the middle of nature in which will perform, among others, Alex Sardui, Olatz Salvador, Nogen, Anari, Niko Etxart, Idoia Asurmendi, Chill Mafia, Dupla, Gorka eta Nerea Urbizu and Juantxo Arakama 'Glaukoma. All of them will perform with the base of the Et Incarnatus orchestra. Organized by the association Mendi Gidari Elkartea and the Et Incarnatus orchestra.
