Asha is CEO of Giving Tuesday, and co-founder of the global generosity movement. Giving Tuesday's aims to encourage and multiply people's good deeds by dedicating a day around the world, this year on 30 November, to celebrate the action of giving, be it food, money, time (second-hand objects, etc.) The idea of #GivingTuesday came from the NGO 92 Y Street in New York, which has been dedicated to social work for more than 100 years, and the United Nations Foundation, which has contributed its experience in the strategy and dissemination of solidarity projects.
