Rita Ezenwa Okoro is Street Project Foundation's chief visionary, creative, activist and communications expert. Her journey in the field of community development began during a year of compulsory service in Lagos, Nigeria, where she served as vice president of a special community service youth group called One house Music Unit. In this group, music was used as an awareness tool, performing under bridges in densely populated areas of Lagos State, as well as in schools and social institutions. After completing his year of youth service, the passion to continue giving back to the community led him to establish Street Project Foundation in 2008. Street Project Foundation is a social organization whose main objective is to empower youths living below the poverty line through art.
